Amanda Rae Iverson chosen as one of Tucson’s 40 Under 40

Amanda Rae Iverson, CPA, MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP, APN, partner and chief operating officer at Pinnacle Plan Design, LLC has been selected as one of Tucson’s 40 Under 40 winners. The award, co-hosted by the Arizona Daily Star and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, recognizes young leaders in Tucson who have made an impact in the community.

Amanda was selected for her professional career as well as her involvement in the community.  She is a graduate of the 2014 class of the Greater Tucson Leadership (GTL) program, which promotes community and civic leadership.  She is now a Board member for GTL, previously served as GTL’s Treasurer, and is a member of the organization’s Finance Committee. She also volunteers her time as a member of the Society of Human Resources of Greater Tucson’s (SHRM-GT) Programs Committee.  She serves as an elected at-large member of the Leadership Council Board of The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). ASPPA is the premier national organization for retirement plan professionals and has thousands of members nationwide. She also volunteers as a conference planning  committee member for ASPPA Annual, one of the nation’s largest education conferences for retirement plan professionals.

Amanda is responsible for managing Pinnacle’s internal operations including accounting, human resources, growth strategy, and efficiency analysis. She has over 15 years of experience in financial accounting and the retirement plan service industry. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Pacific University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium. Amanda speaks nationally on topics related to firm management and has published several articles in leading industry publications. Amanda is a CPA, MBA, and holds two human resource designations (PHR and SHRM-CP).

Amanda is married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Robert Iverson. They have two children, Emma and Evan.
