Deadlines

As a plan sponsor, several retirement plan deadlines arise throughout the year for reporting and disclosure. The most common among these is the filing of Form 5500, required on all qualified retirement plans subject to Title 1 of ERISA, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. The Form 5500 is due 7 months after the close of a plan year, with the ability to extend an additional 2 ½ months. Pinnacle Plan Design helps plan sponsors stay on top of all the deadlines that apply to their retirement plan.
