For filing Form 5500, you will access government accounts through the unified Login.gov, which enables secure access to many government agencies’ services with a single username and password.

• If this is your first time establishing signing credentials for Form 5500 purposes, you will be required to create a Login.gov account to log into the EFAST2 website to obtain your electronic signature credentials.
• If you have already obtained your signing credentials through your Login.gov account but have forgotten or lost your User ID and PIN required to sign your Form 5500 electronically, first follow steps 1 and 2 below. Then, from your Login.gov account, select Continue to EFAST2, which will bring you to the Filing Summary Once there, select View Your User ID and PIN to see your signing credentials.

To Sign In or Create an Account Login.gov account:

1. Go to https://www.efast.dol.gov/.
2. Once on the Welcome page, click Sign in with Login.gov:
   1. If you do not have an existing Login.gov account, click on ‘Create an account’ to complete the required registration. (TIP: Use the same email address that you use for EFAST2 if you have an existing EFAST2 account. Click Submit. A message will be displayed to indicate that an email was sent to the given email address. From the email, click Confirm Email Address.)
   2. If you already have a Login.gov account, click Sign-in to proceed.
3. After returning to the EFAST2 website from Login.gov, you can choose to Create an EFAST2 account if an existing account is not found for you.
4. Read and accept the privacy statement.
5. On the next screen, provide your profile information and select Filing Signer. After verifying that the information you entered is correct, click Submit.
6. You will be asked to accept the PIN Agreement, which describes the security of the PIN and what to do if your PIN is lost or stolen. You will also be asked to accept the Signature Agreement if you will be signing the filing.
7. The Confirmation page displays your EFAST2 UserID and PIN, and your EFAST2 registration is complete.
