Rick Block Acknowledges the Two Firms’ Shared Values Regarding Client and Employee Satisfaction
Tucson, AZ – June 30, 2021 – Pinnacle Plan Design LLC, a national provider of qualified retirement plan design, administration and actuarial consulting services, announces that it has acquired Block Consulting Actuaries, Inc., a third-party administration and actuarial consulting firm in El Segundo, CA.
Block Consulting Actuaries, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Helen Block, MSPA. In 1986, Helen’s husband and fellow actuary Rick Block, FSEA, FCA, ASA, MAAA formally joined the firm and has since become an icon in the retirement plan industry. The two worked side-by-side until Helen’s retirement in 2020. Rick and all of the Block Consulting Actuaries, Inc. staff members will join the Pinnacle Plan Design team and will continue to serve their clients, as well as their key referral sources.

Rick Block and the entire Block Consulting Actuaries team will continue to serve their clients and key referral sources from their current office. With this acquisition, Pinnacle now has seven enrolled actuaries (EA) and 36 professionals on staff to design and administer customized 401(k)/profit sharing plans and defined benefit plans for their clients.
